The one and only Acropolis Museum is one of the most important ones in the world and a key destination for Greek and foreign visitors. In its four floors and its over 14,000 square meters, each visitor has the opportunity to connect with the cultural “gifts” that the Greek culture has to offer to history.

The ultimate symbol

The ultimate symbol, as well as the highlight of the museum, is its third floor, which has been designed to house the Parthenon sculptures, the largest temple on the Acropolis.

It is a glass room combining the original marble sculptures with plaster replicas replacing those being in the British Museum or in other museums abroad. In this room of high aesthetics that overlooks the Acropolis, visitors have the feeling that the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis has been transported into the museum.
